Beneath its intricate architecture, the Renaud Tixier Monday Skeleton Blue retains the Maison’s innovative patented micro-rotor winding system, engineered to capture energy from even subtle movements of the wrist. At the center of the platinum micro-rotor sits a flywheel connected to a propulsion spring, known as the dancer, which helps improve winding efficiency. An integrated declutching mechanism also helps protect the movement in the event of a shock. Traditional hand-finishing elevates every detail, from black polishing, beveled and rounded bridges, Côtes de Genève, sunray finishing, and circular graining to an extraordinary 238 meticulously executed inward angles. Through the sapphire exhibition caseback, a hand-engraved and chased bridge over the barrel ratchet adds another artisanal touch, enhanced by grand feu enamel.
