Developed specifically for the Quadrivium, the hand-wound Grönefeld Calibre G-09 comprises 473 components and uses twin coaxial barrels connected in series to deliver a stable flow of energy throughout its 50-hour reserve. Its dedicated dead-seconds mechanism regulates the central jumping-seconds hand independently of the movement’s natural 3 Hz frequency, while a satellite-wheel system provides the power reserve indication. The open sapphire caseback reveals meticulous haute horlogerie finishing across the ruthenium-plated main plate and hand-beveled stainless steel bridges. Limited to 28 pieces, the Grönefeld 1941 Quadrivium Platinum combines precious-metal watchmaking, advanced complications, and the meticulous craftsmanship that defines exceptional independent Swiss watchmaking.
