The Moritz Grossmann HAMATIC Enamel celebrates the 200th anniversary of the manufacture’s founder with an exceptional limited-edition luxury watch that unites historic Glashütte watchmaking and refined design. Released in 2026, two centuries after Moritz Grossmann’s birth on 27 March 1826, the anniversary timepiece features a jet-black enamel dial accented by applied Arabic numerals in solid 18K rose gold or white gold. This marks a distinctive departure for the HAMATIC collection, previously known for its Roman numeral displays. Both editions pair the glossy black dial with a precious-metal case, individually crafted hands, and a hand-stitched alligator leather strap. Vintage-inspired M. GROSSMANN lettering based on the brand’s 1875 style and a special 1826 engraving on the balance cock further connect this contemporary mechanical watch to its founder’s legacy. Limited to just eight pieces each in rose gold and white gold, the HAMATIC Enamel is a rare collector’s watch with enduring historical significance.

Inside both the Moritz Grossmann HAMATIC Enamel Rose Gold and HAMATIC Enamel White Gold is the automatic Manufacture Calibre 106.0, distinguished by its innovative hammer-winding mechanism. The 312-part movement uses an oscillating hammer and bidirectional click wheels to wind efficiently, delivering a 72-hour power reserve. Its hours, minutes, and small-seconds display includes a stop-seconds function for precise time setting. Traditional German watchmaking techniques are evident throughout the hand-engraved three-quarter plate, cantilevered balance cock, wide horizontal Glashütte ribbing, and raised gold chatons secured with screws. The movement is regulated in five positions and features a Grossmann balance with micrometer screw adjustment, reflecting the manufacture’s focus on precision and mechanical craftsmanship. Measuring 41 mm in diameter and 11.35 mm thick, each 18K gold edition combines intricate horological engineering with the timeless appeal of a black enamel dial. Whether in warm rose gold or cool white gold, this limited-edition Moritz Grossmann watch offers a distinctive tribute to 200 years of German watchmaking heritage
