Created by Portuguese artist Bernardo d’Orey, the abstract Broken Ice motif is constructed from 28 individually shaped sections of rye straw, each carefully positioned by hand. Differences in fibre direction create an ever-changing interplay of blue tones, texture, and reflected light, ensuring that every dial has its own distinctive character.
