Gerald Charles Maestro GC 9.0 Roman Tourbillon Hammered WG | LE50
The Maestro 9.0 Roman Tourbillon, a limited-edition marvel from the family-owned Maison Gérald Charles, represents the perfect fusion of technical mastery and artistic elegance. Its hand-hammered 5N white gold dial is a testament to meticulous craftsmanship, while the design pays homage to the original Maestro flying tourbillon created in 2005 by the legendary Gérald Genta. Reimagined under the creative vision of Octavio Garcia, this exceptional timepiece is powered by the GCA 3024/12 automatic flying tourbillon calibre. Developed in collaboration with Vaucher Manufacture Fleurier, the Swiss expert in haute horology movements, the Maestro GC 9.0 Tourbillon stands as a pinnacle of precision, innovation, and timeless sophistication.

At the heart of this extraordinary timepiece lies a 60-second flying tourbillon, a horological masterpiece originally conceived in the 19th century to counteract gravitational forces in pocket watches. For the Maestro GC 9.0 Tourbillon, Octavio Garcia collaborated with Gérald Charles’ technical teams and Vaucher Manufacture Fleurier to create a groundbreaking design: a tourbillon cage shaped like the Maison’s iconic GC logo. Achieving this innovation required exceptional precision. By skeletonizing the titanium cage and repositioning the screws of the 18-carat yellow gold bridge to the reverse side, they ensured optimal power reserve without compromising the watch's delicate balance.
The tourbillon operates at an impressive 4 Hz, with its visual allure heightened by the interplay of materials—surgical-grade stainless steel, blued steel, yellow gold, and titanium. A blue indicator on the "G" of the cage serves as a small seconds display, while a stop-seconds mechanism enables exact time-setting. This fusion of artistry and engineering makes the Maestro GC 9.0 Tourbillon a celebration of innovation, design, and the enduring elegance of haute horology.
