The name references the watch’s unique rhythm of 60 beats per minute, reflecting a radical 1 Hz regulating system that operates far below the industry’s typical frequency range. At the heart of the watch is the newly developed Dominique Renaud BUA2024 manufacture movement, designed around a monumental 20 mm high-inertia balance wheel that delivers remarkable stability and smooth, measured oscillation. This low-frequency architecture dramatically reduces mechanical disturbances within the escapement, allowing the movement to achieve impressive rate stability while introducing a slower, more deliberate cadence that visually connects timekeeping to the rhythm of the human heartbeat.
