Schwarz Etienne x Oster Roma Synergy Evergreen Dial by Kari Voutilainen

The limited edition Roma Synergy features a vibrant Evergreen hand-guilloché dial by Kari Voutilainen. The deep, textured color draws inspiration from the rich Colorado landscape of fresh pine. The special edition will be sold exclusively thru Oster Jewelers’ prestigious boutique in Denver. Housed in a stainless steel case, the model is offered in a choice of 39 mm or 42 mm variants, each of which is limited to 8 pieces (16 pieces in total).

At the heart of each model is the Manufacture automatic movement ASE 200.00. Unusually, this movement features a gold-plated micro-rotor, a nonstandard detail found only on these models. Unlike a full size oscillating weight, the micro-rotor sits flush with the neighboring bridges, affording unhindered views of the hand-bevelled bridges and their straight-grained flanks.

Schwarz Etienne was established in 1902 and is located in La Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland. The company is a Manufacture, making its own in-house movements. Moreover, it also makes most of the regulating organ in-house, a rare competence, even in Switzerland. 

Les Ateliers Kari Voutilainen specializes in the rare crafts such as hand-guilloché using a period rose engine lathe. Furthermore, the acclaimed watchmaker is also known for his flawless finishing, a product of patient endeavour. Perpetuating the spirit of collaboration, Schwarz Etienne and Oster Jewelers have conceived a new creation.

Oster Jewelers has been known for 20 years as a strong supporter of Independent watchmaking, often first to bring emerging talent to market in the USA.
