The haute horlogerie brand Dominique Renaud makes its debut at the 2026 Time To Watches fair in Geneva with the unveiling of the Pulse60, a groundbreaking mechanical timepiece built around an unconventional vision of watchmaking frequency. The name references the watch’s unique rhythm of 60 beats per minute, reflecting a radical 1 Hz regulating system that operates far below the industry’s typical frequency range. At the heart of the watch is the newly developed Dominique Renaud BUA2024 manufacture movement, designed around a monumental 20 mm high-inertia balance wheel that delivers remarkable stability and smooth, measured oscillation. This low-frequency architecture dramatically reduces mechanical disturbances within the escapement, allowing the movement to achieve impressive rate stability while introducing a slower, more deliberate cadence that visually connects timekeeping to the rhythm of the human heartbeat.

The Pulse60 showcases these technical innovations through an open and contemporary design that highlights the movement’s architecture. The regulating organ has been entirely reengineered to allow amplitude beyond 360 degrees without the risk of knocking, dramatically expanding the operating range of the balance and improving long-term accuracy.
