Tongue firmly in cheek, Louis Erard brings a chuckle to the face of its iconic regulator with their open collaboration with French design firm seconde/seconde/. Interjected on the face of this classic timepiece is the dreaded "404 Error" message, reinterpreted as a minute hand. Le Régulateur Louis Erard x seconde/seconde/ erases Erard on the dial transforming it into Louis Error. Once the minute hand reaches a quarter to the hour, the 404 Error is displayed across the face of this timepiece with a sense of humor.

Like the original Regulateur, the matte silver dial is reminiscent of the elegant simplicity of the 1950s, but revitalised with shifting levels and contrasting finishes. Two snailed counters for hours and seconds are balanced at 12 o'clock and 6 o'clock respectively. Beyond the self-mockery, each detail has been finely crafted in order to produce an original and decidedly contemporary result. All with the natural, sensual touch of the chocolate calf nubuck leather strap.
