Louis Erard takes us on a dark and strange adventure with the latest collaboration - an ode to the unusual with the Master of Horological Creature creations himself, Konstantin Chaykin. Drawing inspiration from the infamous Likho charcter of Slavic fairy tales, Louis Erard's Régulateur calibre has been sacrificed to the most unusual of beasts - The Time-Eater, a mythologically inspired saw-toothed cyclops.
This fantastical monster (seen here in 42 mm with a green hour ring) shows off a single eye hour sub-dial that watches time pass by. Its small seconds "mouth" counter at 6 o'clock devours every second of the day with its menacingly sharp toothy grin. The hour and minute hands have been manipulated into the creature's arms, with gestures that are left up its collector to interpret. Finishing off this freaky masterpiece is a toad leather black strap lined with electrifying green rabbit leather.

Russian watchmaker Konstantin Chaykin is known the world over for his imaginative timepieces that blur the lines between the whimsical and the macabre. His Wristmons (wrist monsters) watches pair horological expertise with the world of horror and fantasy, bringing new creations to life since 2017. His impressive body of work doesn't stop there. This member of the AHCI (Académie Horlogère des Créateurs Indépendants) also holds an impressive 94 patents demonstrating his inventiveness in watchmaking.
