Victor Velyan: Goth Meets The Renaissance
Velyan began his journey in the jewelry industry in 1984 as a diamond setter; by 1986 he became a jeweler’s apprentice. Over the years, through hard work and dedication, Velyan's knowledge of the industry grew as did his desire to share his talents.
In 1995, with a decade of experience under his belt, Velyan breathed life into his dream through the opening of his design shop, Victor-Christy in Los Angeles, Calif. The Victor-Christy Design Studio allows Velyan the freedom and flexibility to produce pieces for some of the industry’s most significant designers. Velyan's unique pieces are not only inspired by old world architecture but also from music, nature, travel, unique cultures, history and fine art. He combines colored metals and conglomerations of various gemstone and diamond accents to make bold, vivacious statements.
Velyan's talent and vision, combined with his well-rounded knowledge of the jewelry industry, have placed him at the forefront of today's ever-growing jewelry market as a leader, an innovator and an inspiration.
